Financial Calculator Update 9/30/2012

With this update we are making our new Dinkytown.net V3 calculators available, which use HTML5 and Javascript. V3 no longer requires the Java-Plugin and will work in just about every modern browser included IE7 and higher, Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, iPads, iPods, iPhones, Android Tablets and Android phones.

If you have already requested to be updated to V3, your download package has been refreshed with your new V3 calculators. If you have not yet requested to be moved to V3, your update package will contatin the V2 calculators (Java Applets). Please contact to have your package upgraded to V3.

Dinkytown.net V3 is currently available for over 135 US English calculators. If you have calculators that are not yet available in V3, you are able to receive a combination deployment where V3 calculators are included where available. V3 and V2 can co-exist in the same location (and directory) on your server and do not need to be separated. The new V3 calculators use the same HTML file name as the existing V2 calculators, which should prevent broken links from existing pages. 1. 72T Calculator, 72T Distribution Impact: (Retire72T.html,Retire72Alt.html, Retire72T2.html, Retire72Alt.html, SPRetire72T.html): The default "Reasonable interest rate" has been changed to 1.12% to reflect 120% of the current Federal Mid-Term rate as of October 2012.
